About Us

Welcome to The Corn Crib Natural Foods!

Corn Crib Natural Foods was incorporated in 1975 and began as a smaller store in Moncton than the one you know now. Although records are not easy to find, Corn Crib Natural Foods is likely connected to both the back-to-the-land movement of the 1960s and the health food movement of the 1970s and 1980s when people started to question whether there was any health value in food products that were made by big food corporations and sold in supermarkets.

For decades, the Corn Crib Natural Foods was the only health food store in Moncton and it has been a trailblazer since it opened. In its earliest days, the Corn Crib sold mostly bulk foods like oats, flour, and candied fruit — and of course spices — but gradually evolved with the health movement, as demand for healthier products grew..

I was visiting a very good friend and heard about The Corn Crib so I went to check it out and LOVED it! The staff were so friendly helpful and knowledgeable! There was a lovely lady named Kate who helped me and a super awesome gentleman named Will! Wish I didn't live so far away...however I guess it's good otherwise I would be there all the time! Now I have to have my friend ship me stuff like the Patchouli grapefruit soap I absolutely LOVE! Thank you for the great service!
